Shocking, horrifying and unreasonable response of RACE
CAR HELPLINE on 10.04.2015
I m a senior citizen customer of RACE car help line and my
membership no is PC4189. On 10.04.2015, I was driving my I10 car with my three
family members, (including two female members). At around 17.15 hours, in
DWARKA, my car developed a problem and it was not able to move further.
Then I rang up Race helpline 48885888 and requested to
depute their team for help. On being asked some more information about the car
failure I explained that the car was in Neutral and unable to shift gears. It appeared the CLUTCH
CABLE might have SNAPPED.
I was shocked to hear the response of Race helpline that Clutch
Cable replacement can’t be done by RACE team at site and I should make
my own arrangement to rectify the problem. Even on my telling that similar
failure was attended by Race team at site around 5 months back, their response
continued to remain negative.
Thus, I felt CHEATED
and it AMOUNTED TO DENIAL OF SERVICE by the RACE CAR HELPLINE. Besides, I was subjected
to highly emotionally negative situation.
This is as bad as asking for an ambulance and getting
response that ambulance cannot be
provided for the reason that the person receiving complaint was not in a mood
