Rashi Peripherals / Asus Service Center — Horrible Service, extremely expensive and no updates

I submitted my nexus 7 tab to repair the screen. For the quotation they took 2 weeks and asked me to pay Rs 25, 000 for the same. The cost of the tab itself is Rs 8990, then how can the repair be 3 times more than the tablet? Right now it has been a week and I haven't heard a single word from them nor have I got a new quotation and it has been almost a month now. Challan no. 29 Date of product submission 23.12.2013
