[Resolved] Religare Enterprises — I'm complaining regarding claim settlement process | |||
I have taken religare health policy of sum assured of 10lakh two year before and i was paying premium continuously without fail. This time my wife faced an emergency and we went to metro hospital noida for treatment. I have advised by the doctor for admission as doctor suspect acute ge & dehydration. (Please find attached prescription) She suggested some test for verifying and that report comes in 24 hours. If the doctor suggests not to go home and anything can happen, in such condition what should we do? We can not wait outside the hospital for the report which will come in next 24 hours. I have taken this medical policy to secure me and my family and expecting support from religare in such condition. First of all religare declined cashless claim as they were saying hospitalisation not required. Then after following up with support team, they told me to submit claim reimbursement along with all documents which usually hospital doesn't provide at the time of discharge. I visited to hospital again and request them to give me all treatment related documents and submit the claim. But again the same reply came from religare. When i asked them again they told me that we are having our own medical panel who is saying that hospitalisations was not required in my case. I don't know what qualifications they have but i visited to a reputed hospital and consult with a doctor who is md along with years of experience and i should believe and follow her advice in such conditions.
