Reserve Bank Of India [RBI] — Fake call for verification of ATM and passbook | |||
Got a call from [protected] from Rakesh Kumar Gupta for ATM verification. He said that he is calling from ATM service center, and he is the bank manager. He asked me what branch does my ATM card belong to, and when does it expire. Upon further insistance from my side about the purpose of the call and which bank is he calling from, he said that he is calling from RBI reserve bank of India bandra mumbai branch. When I told him that RBI would never call like this, he said that okay you can check your account balance, and you would know, and just cut the call immediately. This was clearly a fake call. The number is reported spam on truecaller by 80 people with the same name. How can such fake numbers exist for so long. I have the call recording for this. Was this information helpful? | |||

I have 2 bank account in ICICI 1 is active & another is inactive from last 4 years. I am asking bank statement for inactive account for 2012-13 financial year but they are forcing me to active that account. I required the statements for my personal use. Please help me for the same on urgent basis.
