So me and my wife went for a consultation to Mr. MATHIAZHAGAN MB(ortho)
on 16th march 2023. This is our 4th consultation, in our previous consultation we took an MRI and went for a follow up, he saw for two minutes and asked why we didnt take MRI in the prescribed lab as he told and he said MRI report is not proper and asked us to go and check back in the same lab or to go the Lab he suggested. We went to the same lab and got our report corrected and came back for follow up consultation. We have to pay in the reception even before doctor consultation so we did that and asked the receptionist, last time was a follow up and the doctor didnt see for more than 3 mins and asked us to get correct report and come back, can we get a refund for it as lot of doctors dont charge for follow up, Receptionist told only if the doctor approves it we can do, she asked us to request the doctor. So after the consultation we requested the doctor if it can be refunded, for which the doctor said in tamil ( "ITHU ELLAM ORU KAASU AH" ) which means (IS THIS SUCH A BIG AMOUNT) "They are asking me to increase my fee and you are asking for refund" "KELAMBUNGA MA" with sarcastic smile which is basically GET OUT from here.

Is this how a doctor speaks to a patient ?! Paying the consultation fee is not my problem but when i request him something he could have said yes or no in a polite way and not like this. Please take action against this doctor, i have a partial recording of what he said.
