Hon'ble Sir,

Today on 28.03.16 about 10 o clock I was about to be discharged from the Sahara hospital situated under Police station Vibhuti Khand Gomtinagar Lucknow at and bill was settled to rs 75000 which t.p.a cell informed me after 75000 was paid and bill was settled when we were about to go home some 7 to eight people came some in doctors uniform and others in guards uniform illegally confined me and snatched way rs 100000 containing bag from me and started abusing me for arguing about the discharge issue .They said the bill now has been amended for rs 1, 10, 000.Subsequently complaint was made on control room number 100 about 1900 hrs after which the police reached the spot. After some time after police went away the accused culprits one Mr Puri designated as Medical Superintendent along with four to five others started again with pressure tactics by calling in the guards available at the duty and under duress and pressure forced me to withdraw rs 20000 and 9978 in second attempt by my debit card and forced me to sign the plain papers. They forcefully threw me out with my belongings with my unfit state of health without medicine or medical documents. They refused to give any documents related to medical treatments given to me. No treatment was given and no consent for any treatment was given and no copy of reports was given which is clear infringement of right of patient. The manner in which whole system function in the hospital is one sided with no discretion or choice of patients. The medical bill is deliberately exaggerated and manipulated to harass and exploit the patients. This is loot in the name of medical care and operates under mafia immune to any rules and regulation laid down by law.

There lies no scope for grievance redressal in this institutions where the whole motive of running hospital is to extract money where there is no scope for humanitarian considerations.

Therefore it is utmost important in the public interest and of complainant that recommendation be made for constitution of C.M.O level inquiry with panel of experts ascertaining the mode of treatment given to me and the services charged with it. Physical examination by doctors be made under police supervision from government hospital to assess the extent of injury caused to me by mishandling by the accused persons. Kindly take strict action with immediate registration of F.I.R.
