Mrs. Joyce Ferreira (Mother) and Mrs. Lourdes Ferreira (Spouse) had Invested funds in recurring deposits and Fixed Deposits with Sahara Credit cooperative Society Ltd located at 1/31, Yadav Bhavan, BMC Colony, Malwani No 1, Malad (west), Mumbai 400095 in the year 2017 and these recurring deposits and Fixed deposits has matured in the year 2022/2023 respectively. We had approached the above office numerous times, however the same is locked and we are left helpless as how can the money invested can be recovered back understanding the demise of Sahara India Pariwar founder, Mr. Subrata Roy. Moreover the branch manager Mr. Sunesh R Gupta has also expired and we are left clueless as to whom to approach to recover the invested funds. Sahara India Pariwar customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. Nov 23, 2023 Updated by Droyden Rod Today there was a call received from a 10 digit mobile number ([protected]) and the representative named himself as Mr. Vibhav Rathod stating he is from Sahara India Pariwar. Post discussion, all information shared about the Recurring and Fixed deposits were absolutly correct and being assured that the amount will be credited in the account, I proceeded with sharing the bank details as Mr. Vibhav assured the amount will be transferred directly in the account. It was surprised to see that an amount of Rs. 20000/- was debited from the account (Referring to the FD amount). Since I stopped all further transistions, Mr. Vibhav assured that the amount is in the gateway and will be returned and that we can connect again after 20 minutes, surprisingly no calls and the phone is switched Off and no amount was returned which has confirmed it was fraud call. The account details of Mr. Vibhav are recorded. Need to understand how safe is this Indian Consumer complaint forum platform with such fraud calls being received. Nov 26, 2023 Updated by Droyden Rod Hi, As of today (26th Nov 2023, there is no further update received from Sahara India Pariwar, would appreciate if Sahara India Pariwar or or Consumer Forum can look into this matter and close the same ASAP.
