I have been called by a no. [protected] on 14th may 2015 and a lady told me that I have been selected for an scholarship and I will receive 36000/- rupees by check in 10-15 days at my address. As I am receiving an scholarship from CENTRAL GOVT and that she had all my genuuine information and told me that GOVT is only giving it for further studies I trusted her. I receeived the post by India Post which costed me Rs.933/- on 10th june 2015. She had all of my details like -Fathers name, contact number, address, and when i asked her the reason that I am getting another scholarship from central government then she said that CENTRAL GOVT is giving money for higher studies….end of all I just got an application form for scholarship in this envelop sent by them, no check! I was told to receive a check of 36, 000/- from Central Govt, but received a scholarship form instead.Yes its a fraud.I am waiting if consumer forums does something in this regard.

i had also got same scholarship call on 14/05/2014 and on 11/6/2015 i got a letter and postman take 980 rs from me .

I was cheated too but the trick was different. I run a private limited company and it is registered on my residence address, While I was in office the post man came to house and gave this letter which was on my company's name and it was from Sampurna Rojgar Abhikaran. I was not at home and my mom gave the money thinking something important has arrived. When I came home I opened it and notice it had a form about the companies act and law.
These people are scamming big time 475 rs paid for vpp and another 24rs to the postman.

today i got two latter from post man, same as yours, but i didn't received returned to the Bangalore, . something fraud, be aware !
