SBI Credit Card — Annual charges levied on lost card (Even not reissued to me) | |||||
I had SBI card no [protected] and same had been lost in the month of Feb'15( tentatively). I had lodged complaint and subsequently got message for blocking the card. Further, I had mentioned that Please not reissue the card to me Since then, I had not used the card, and now SBI Card team, has sent me annual charges. Already I have been communicated to them, I am not able to pay the card, as it is not in active mode also. Charges Related We understand the concern expressed in your communication and sympathizes with the difficulties faced by you. We are however not in a position to provide annual fee charge wavier on your SBI Card Account. We would like to inform you that currently there are no free cards given by SBI cards and from the next year onwards renewal fee can be reversed basis on the card spends for Rs.75000 and internal decision. SBI Card Re-issue Related We would request you to confirm the following details, as it would enable us to take necessary action at the earliest. *Mother’s Maiden Name (OR) Date of Birth *Residential Address with pin code *Official Address with pin code *Register Mobile Number Post receipt of your confirmation request would be taken for card re-issue. Card Replacement Charges We would also hereby inform you that a replacement fee of Rs.100.00 plus government service tax (as per applicable charges) would be applicable towards the reissue of new card. Post receipt of your confirmation request would be taken for card closure and account zeroisation.
