Shoppers Stop — Citibank card fraud

After my shopping at shoppers stop as I was leaving the counter, a man approached me and said that the first citizen card that I am holding is a gold card and he will replace it with a platinum card. He took my credentials and made me sign a few papers. Only when the next day I received a call from Citibank that I realised that the form was for a credit card. Citibank people have been harassing me ever since. I stay away from credit cards as a rule. But this man had such an ingenious way of approaching me that I dint even realise what was happening. Please be careful when goin to shoppers stop.
