Skoda India — fabia tdi ac replacement: overcharging
I own a skoda fabia TDI (2011 Aug make) and the AC of my car ceased working. Gave it to Malayalam skoda for repair (on 10 May 2018) and they have told me the estimated price would be around 20K-22K plus labour charge. the final invoice (TVDM[protected] came around 30, 600 i have complaints on two issues 1) they have charged around 5K more that what they have given me an idea about as estimate. that is an unfair practice as we are forced to take back the vehicle by paying whatever amount they claim. they have not given me clear idea about the components that will be replaced before the job is done. hence i doubt a lack of transparency from the service center 2) Charging Rs. 30, 600 for replacing AC is a very high amount for such a small car. upon enquiry i could realise that for AC replacement of this category cars of other company cost us around Rs. 20000. so i feel dejected and doubtful that skoda using its loyal customers like me just as a money making machine by charging exorbitant money for such a complaint. please do the needful at the earliest Was this information helpful?
