Snapdeal.com — Repeated case of cheating

An Order ID: [protected], Placed On 10 Feb, 2016 with Snapdeal for Rs 844. The item was a Transcend Jetflash 810 flash drive of capacity 32 GB blue-black in color (photo and order details attached). I promptly received a 32GB Transcend 700 black model on Feb 11, 2016(photo attached as well as Snapdeal price of Rs 796). Upon receiving the courier at about 2:30 in the afternoon I immediately lodged a complaint with Snapdeal as to why I was charged Rs 844 and not given what I had ordered. This is the third instance of same thing happening: Snapdeal advertises an item for a certain price and when it comes to delivery they deliver a lower priced different product. I have already made a complaint in this forum during last year Diwali sale when Snapdeal delivered an inferior variety of Hard Disk. In that instance Snapdeal as usual was very apologetic and refunded my money and I was assured that such a thing will not occur again. Unfortunately it has indeed happened again. Once again the same apologies and assurance of non-recurrence! To be sure I have used Jetflash 700 and it is a good product. Snapdeal agreed to pick up the pendrive on 12 Feb and replace it with model 810 which by the way is today priced at Rs 935. However due to paucity of time and the fact that I had to travel (the reason I ordered OTG pendrive) I did not take up the offer. It is ridiculous to pay the money upfront, then return the item, wait for the courier etc. What a waste of time. The only reason I am lodging this complaint is I want the CEO of Snapdeal Mr. Kunal Bahl to know what is happening inside Snapdeal. Either some of the employees are sabotaging his efforts or the vendors are conspiring against Snapdeal. I hope Mr. Bahl you are listening. We certainly would like you to succeed and prevent a monopoly in e-commerce by your competetors. Finally please learn from the Americans and one of your formidable competetors: You do not take away a customers money and cheat him albeit agree to replace/refund. Good business ethics demand that the item be replaced first or simultaneously with a reverse pick up. The least you can do now is immediately FIRST give me a replacement or refund me Rs 75 for the difference in price.
