Sony India — having problem while updating my window

Dear sir/madam, I'm regret to inform you that i that the Sony vaio series laptop with configuration having 4gb ram, 500 gb hard disk, core i5 processor and having window 8.i had bought this product since June 2014. But I'm sorry to say that from the day of purchase i had been facing lots of problem with but certainly i resolve all these but in these I'm facing the problem while I'm updating my window 8 to 8.1 its shows an error of code 80242000D. i had tolled about this problem to customer care service centre but there I didn't get satisfied answer. i had gone to your service too.but I'm sorry to say that they also didn't give me a satisfied answer. They said that"your product need these updated let them as it is".i can't believe what is this answer from growing largest service centre company.
