Sony India — I connect (Sony authorized service center) poor service, bad diagnosis, tries to charge customer more in case of warranty void | |||||
Repair of sony xperia z5 dual My xperia z5 dual fell down on road on 5th day from date of purchase and it back panel(Glass) got broken. I submitted my handset to the sony service center at gurgoan, my phone was working totally fine, no issue with display, speakers, etc. But from starting i observed little heating when camera application is running. I reported this also to them. They told me that they will do diagnosis and will inform me about the estimated cost of repair. On second day, they called me with estimation i.E., of rs 16000(Approx). I was shocked with this amount, as only the back panel was broken, but they told me that display is also damaged. Later they agreed display is not damaged but the chrome(Side body) was having dent so they are changing the display. Later i managed to convince them not to change my display and give me estimation for back panel only. Next they told me camera also needs to be changed and total cost would be rs 5000(Approx.) then i asked why are they charging me for camera, they replied heating issue is caused by falling of my phone, which is impossible and i knew it from start that's why reported to them promptly. They almost took 20 days and still my phone is with them and they are asking me to wait for 1-2 weeks more. This is really poor service and they try to pull more and more from you, if phone is not under warranty. Was this information helpful? | |||||
