Hand Set Details : SONY c6602 Xperia Z Shop Details Future Retail Ltd., Mumbai Invoice No [protected] dt. 25th March, 2013 Amount of Handset INR 38, 990/- Issue with Handset : The screen is blank Service Job Sheet details: Ticket ID [protected] dt. 2nd August, 2014 Estimate : INR 24, 508/- I regret the delay in in writing to you which is due to sad demise of my mother in August, 2014. My concern is that I had purchased this handset on 25/3/2014 and in such a quality product how the screen has become “black” just after four months of warranty period. I had visited to your authorised service centre M/s. Mobile Technology at Ghatkoper West, Mumbai- 400 079, India on 2nd August, 2014 and have been charged Rs.225/- for attending complaint. After one week I was provided with an estimate of Rs.24, 508/- simply saying that motherboard of the mobile was corrupt. I have not provided any valid reason in writing about the cause of damages happened due to mishandling or quality issue. The reason why I had chosen this phone was only on the basis of your advertisement campaign “SONY Xperia Z is water resistant”. Sir, My query to you or RTI is that How the “motherboard” has got corrupted as there is no external damages to device? Is SONY using substandard quality products? How can the repair charge is more to current market price of product in India? Are the SONY Service Centres are transparent? Since I have used the device safely and no mishandling happened from my side, request you return my hand set in working condition without paying cost to damages. Yours truly, M.
