Sony India — Mobile handset dead - Xperia Z

Bought a XperiaZ in April 2014 and it went completely dead in December 2015. When visited the nearest sony center they say Mother board is gone and it would take RS 8, 000/- to fix it. I now think the biggest mistake I did was trusting brand Sony. Dear People, I recommend please do not buy any Sony products as they are of inferior quality and not worth your hard earned money. Thanks,
