Sony India — Mother Board Not Available

I purchased Sony Bravia LCD KLV-40S550A in 2009. It was all perfect all these days but it suddenly switched off on its own and later didn't Start. Sony Authorised Service Centre Technician checked the unit and reported the problem in mother board. He told sorry sir the mother board for this model is not available. Sir this isn't fair at all. A company should keep the spare parts until 10 years from the date of launching of a model. I bought such an expensive LCD but it's totally waste now. Please look after this sir.
