I recently purchased an LED 3d TV in Shah's showroom in T. Nagar, during Diwali eve. The product got delivered on time and demo was done by one of the executives post installation. We were not clear on using the SMART features and SKYPE and Facebook apps were not working at all since day one. So we again registered a service request vied ID 22501627, which got assigned to Digital vision, Alwarthirunagar, Chennai - 600087.
The executives called us on 21st of November to fix an appointment. Initially I gave it for 23rd morning, but on 22nd they called me to check if they can come in the evening of 22nd itself, and I too accepted and fixed it accordingly for 22nd evening 6.30.
Again someone called me around 5.15 and checked if they can come now. I said as the appointment was only at 6.30, so please come around that time, for which they said, "sir we are already at your door step, can we come now ?"
I was at office, so I asked them to come at the appointed time. Once I reached home around 6.15, I called them to confirm that I am available at home, so that they can come anytime from then, for which one of the in charge who uses the mobile number [protected] was very rude to me and said, you have fixed it only by 6.30, so they will not come now, and will come only after 6.30.
Then I called them around 7, and wanted to check if they are likely to come ? He was again rude and hung the phone without giving a proper answer...again I called him immediately, for which with great irritation, he said in a rude tone, that they will come ...but of no luck.
Then around 8 I called again to check where was the guy (prabha) who was supposed to come, and wanted his phone number, but the guy did not even give it, but continued to give the same old promise, that they will come.
Sony, being such a good brand, not sure how irresponsible the executives can behave, in spoiling the brand's image ?
Can you please train the executives to behave properly with customers and ensure they demonstrate professionalism and diplomacy while attending customer service ?
