Sony India — Regarding my mobile

I had purchased a new mobile phone model no Z1 sony xperia. The phone is less than a year old. The voice of the phone cracks while talking Went to service centre. The complain was registered against complain no W[protected]. The service centre mentioned that phone will be returned after 15 days. Why should a customer wait for so long.
