Dear Sir,
I purchased the above Tv from M/s Swastik Homes, Rourkela on dated 18/05/2011. The TV Display panel was replaced once within the warranty period by Sony service center, Rourkela on dated 12/10/2012. The TV worked fine for 2 years, after that thick lines appeared on the screen, called Sony Service Engineer, checked & found that the Display panel is out of order. Sony Service Engineer gave me a rough estimate of Rs 18000/- for replacement of Display panel since the 1 year warranty has elapsed. I called upon Sony customer care & also gave Email for free replacement of the display panel but they were reluctant to do so.
That sir, here I like to tell that original Display panel which was replaced within warranty had problem like the Edge LED bulbs were getting fused due to some internal circuitry flaws during assembly . Here I like to add that the flaws inside the assembly still exist & for this reason the Display Panel is out of order for the second time within a span of 2 years.
It is my earnest request to replace the Display panel at FREE OF COST because the internal circuitry flaws still persists in the mother board of the TV for which the Edge LED bulbs are getting fused every time. Now please tell me why should I pay for a problem which still persist & unable to be solved by Sony service personal.
