I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding a serious issue I am facing with the Sony TV I purchased approximately 11 months ago, costing around 80k. The TV model in question is a 55-inch copy of the bill attached for your reference, and it is currently under warranty.
The reason for my discontent stems from the fact that the TV screen has suddenly malfunctioned, and it now displays content in black and white only. This issue occurred without any prior warning or apparent cause, making it even more frustrating. Service Center assured me the panel will be replaced but the 80k Sony TV within a year will get panel replacement and after my warranty expires this 26th September, 2023 i need to pay for each service. what quality of product i had received from Sony????
As a loyal Sony customer, I have always trusted in the quality and reliability of your products. However, the current situation has left me thoroughly dissatisfied. A television is a significant investment, and I expect it to function correctly and provide a satisfactory viewing experience throughout its lifespan. Sorry to say but i haven't purchased the TV of MI or One Plus or any other inferior brand compared to Sony. I had made an investment in India's most trusted brand.
Giving a situation to you :
Suppose after 26th September, 2023 (meaning after the warranty expires) Motherboard problems occur or any problem happens then i need to pay for that. I had a deep fear in mind now that after spending Rs 80k and having panel issue in TV and service center will replace that just because I'm under warranty. but the biggest question is why did this happen?? There is a huge question mark on Sony tv products or i get a defective product at the time of purchase. We middle class people spend our money on the most trusted brands just because of durability or its longevity. I had a box TV Sony purchased in 1997 and its still working fit and fine. Sony had built their reputation at this level, but what happened this time. Considering my experience with Sony i m pretty sure that the TV was not in good condition at the time of delivery at my home. it was not fit and proper else this could not happen.
Given the circumstances, I kindly request an immediate resolution to this problem. I urge Sony to honor its commitment to customer satisfaction and promptly replace the TV under warranty. I believe it is essential for Sony to uphold its reputation for excellence and ensure that its customers continue to enjoy high-quality products and services.
