Sony India — Sony Xperia SP not switching on

After completely charging my phone to 100% I tried unlocking the screen as I have a screen lock however it got switched off on its own and since then it is not switching on. Every time I connect it to charger a red flickering comes on the bottom. I have tried all the modes of switching on which have been provided on the official Sony site like stimulated battery off etc. However nothing seems to work. This phone is under warranty. This handset has always had some or the other problem like within 2 weeks of buying it, it suffered from hardware problem and then some screen problem. This handset is the worst so far.
