Sony India — TV panel gone bust in less than 2 years of purchase | |||
We purchased a Sony LED TV 40" on 27th October, 2013 from one of the Reliance Digital stores at Navi Mumbai. In the last week of September, 2015 it developed a snag and the company's service engineer after checking told that TV Panel has gone bust. It will take around Rs.20000/- to repair the same. It is surprising that a part of product which cost around 40% of the cost of the product develops a fault in less than 2 years of purchase. The dealer has refused to take up with the manufacturer and authorised service centre at vashi has told that they are taking up with the company. It is really pathetic that the company does not have a comprehensive warranty policy for critical part, which as per complaints on the site is a regular phenomena. Was this information helpful? | |||
