[Resolved] Sony India — TV Service Not attending properly | |||
Dear Sir, I have made a service request for my Sony Tv on 13/10/14. My service request id is 21509566. Based on this request, you have told that the service person from west Tambaram will attend to it. Service person came around 15/10/14 and told that 3 parts to be replaced . He noted down the spares to be replaced and told me that he will be back in 3 days time. But no response after that. I thought that due to heavy rain in Chennai, he is unable to come. Later after about 15 days time, I called Sony Customer care and asked about the reason for the delay in servicing. I am very shocked to hear that my service request has been closed without any intimation from the service dealer nor from the Sony Customer Care. When I enquired Customer Care, they told that I told the service person that I am not interested in servicing my Tv. But no such things happened. Then the service dealer gave me the service person mobile no.[protected] and asked me to contact him. When I enquired him, he said that he will definitely attend the service on the immediate Saturday. From then I am repeatedly following him till last week and he is giving me the same answer i.e the next Saturday. He told that he is busy in LCD tv service which are within the guaranty period. You can talk as if I ( V.Kannan from Ullagaram ) am talking and he will definitely say that he will come this Saturday.. I would have searched for other private service person if he would have told me earlier. I don't know what responsibility does Sony Tv have in handling existing customers. I have bought my Tv in the year 2007. After that I have gone for servicing only one time in 2009 at CTECH Electronics, Chennai-113. Although your product is excellent, the way you handle the customer complaint is worst. You have not even intimated me about the closure of my complaint . I have dealt with Maruthi, TVS products . They are enquiring me about their service after their service. It is sad to intimate you that you are lagging a lot in that area.
