We complained for repair of our KDL 40" EX 520 TV at Sony Service Centre. We were told that screen is to be repaired. Since we had lost the purchase invoice, we were told that it is not under warranty. We handed over the TV set for repair on 16.11.2015 as per Service Job Sheet of Jolly Electronics World, Sr. No. 3816140 CCC ID 29015875. We were given an estimate of Rs.21, 000/- and they took an advance of Rs.5, 000/- and committed that the repaired set will be handed over to us in 2-3 days. the TV set was installed in the bed room of my parents who are retired senior citizens. Very sorry to state that even after 18 days today, repaired TV has not been handed over to us.
Very much dis-satisfied by the approach of your customer care team. I hope an immediate action will be taken on the subject and warranty part will also be looked in our matter. We bought SONY assuming it to be a market leader hoping that we will not have any problem in the set but failure of its screen raises question mark on the quality standards about SONY products.
