Hi,
As indicated by many other people, I have been experiencing the same problem of parking attendant asking for Rs 20/- for 2 hours of 4 wheeler parking while the sign board said Rs 10/- only. This has happened to me both at Cantonment railway station and Yeshwantpur railway station. I have ended up in heated arguments with the parking attendant over this. I understood there have been many other people like me who have been in such a situation.
I therefore request the railway authorities to take up this matter with the concerned people. The issue here is not about expensive parking charges, it is either about malpractice by the parking attendants or improper display of parking rates. It would be really helpful if there is proper information display at the right place where consumers get
to know the parking charges that are to be paid.
Hope the railway authorities will take quick action on this.
