Southern Railway — unreserved passengers allowed in reservation coach
Today (6th may 19) i travelled in train no 12602 towards chennai at midnight 12.30am when i am nearing salem railway station i found more than 50 unreserved male passengers travelling in the s8 coach disturbing the reserved passengers by sitting in the seats specially near to ladies seats. I informed tte and train captain mr. Amarnath (. Mobile no : [protected]) and also raised the complaint in 1512 and 182 immediately. But the response was not really happy. Finally i got out of the train in jolarpet station due to harassment fear. Was this information helpful?

Many people here are travelling without train tickets and are occupying reserved seats, even after complaining to the authorities no action was taken.
Then what is the purpose of reserving tickets if you don't even get a seat to sit down??
