[Resolved] Spice Jet Airlines — Refund of cancelled ticket | |
The Spice Jet ticket (PNR : O9W4HS) was cancelled on October 7, 2022. The payment for this ticket was made by Debit Card. Initially Spice Jet sad that they will refund the money within 21 working days. I find that they have put the refund amount in Credit Shell ! I had not requested for Credit Shell at all. We received numerous calls on our mobile asking for bank details but we declined to do so without proper verification at the caller's end. Moreover, Spice Jet already has those details, since payment was made by Debit Card. I even sent them a mail regarding these calls, but there was no proper response. It is really impossible to connect thru Spice Jet helpline numbers which get cut off within 30 seconds or so. Presently I am wondering if it is prudent to share bank details (which Spice Jet already has) on phone call. If they require such details, they can always email on the registered email I.D., requesting for the details. Kindly help me find a solution and get my money refunded. Dec 19, 2022 Complaint marked as Resolved I finally received the refund for my ticket which was cancelled in 1 st week of October.
I had to send repeated reminders including to the higher authorities at Spice Jet ([email protected]) till this issue was resolved. | |
