I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I encountered during my recent order through the Swiggy platform. I am a regular customer of Swiggy and have always appreciated the convenience and quality of service provided by your platform. However, on 8th October 2023, I had a disappointing experience with my order (Order Number: [protected]) due to overcharging on the MRP of the item.
Upon reviewing my invoice and cross-checking the price with the product's Maximum Retail Price (MRP), I noticed a discrepancy where I was charged more than the stipulated MRP for my order. This is a clear violation of consumer rights and against fair pricing practices.
To provide a detailed account of the overcharging (pictures attached):

Item: Malai Kulfi Tub (500 ml) x 1
• MRP: ₹ 180 on the product
• Amount Charged: ₹ 254 (which is also showing on the Swiggy platform)
Further to this when I raised a complaint, the customer care executive Mr Abhis/Abhishek was rude with his responses and without my consent, he issued a coupon of ₹74 even after I said I did not want the coupon but a refund of the amount; this left me baffled since my problem was not met judiciously.
I need full compensation of the amount that I have paid including the GST. Also I need to be compensated for the time and effort lost.
