Swiggy — unethical behavior: registration can be done with anyone's email id and no verification done | |||||
Hello, When i try to use swiggy first time, it asked for email id and phone number. After entering them, i am surprised to see the message that its already used. After contacting the support, it says its linked to some different mobile number which i am not even aware of. However customer care is unable to resolve this issue and asking me to create another email id and use it for just swiggy account. Basically this is a flaw in their registration software where they do not do the verification of email id on whether it belongs to specific person or not (They can just just verification link with validity period to the provided email id). On top of that they say that they do not have a way to register or change this also. As a customer, i do not want to keep on creating email ids just to register for swiggy and i am deprived of such service and swiggy is not ready to fix this registration issue from their side which is a pity. Point is not about your margin money getting passed onto customer. You have to understand human aspect. At 10pm if we get stale food, what do we do after that?
