Tamil Nadu Tourism — sri murugan tours and travels

I went to ooty on 3rd january'18. On reaching there, a man called sudhakar (Phone - [protected]) approached me and informed me about a comfortable bus tour which will take me around ooty. He gave me a pamphlet which had details of the tour. He made me wait for half an hour on the road, during which he took the money from me and gave me the receipt of some 'sri murugan tours and travels'. After waiting for almost 40 minutes, i was bumped into a dirty and crammed swaraj mazda van. The conductor of the van called himself manjunath (Phone - [protected]) and was extremely rude throughout. Whenever we tried to question him, he would just shout at us and would keep asking us to leave the bus in the middle of the journey.

However, the tour proceeded. We were promised a detailed and guided tour of 9 places, out of which we were shown only 2 places and he showed all the other places from outside while the bus was moving, when we asked him to stop the bus, he again shouted.
When we were in the bus, he again asked us for more money. When we asked him about the accountability of that extra money, he said just get the hell out of this bus and talk directly to the owner. The problem was that we did not know who exactly the owner of the bus was as everyone in the bus had booked the tours separately either through their hotels or through some travel agency.

The day progressed like this and all the people in the bus were quite frustrated, the main episode happened in the evening when we were supposed to go for the jungle tour to mudhumalai. The conductor told us that there are two jeeps - one government and one private. We unanimously told him that we will talk to both and then decide which one to take. He kept going and stopped in front of 3 jeeps which were private ones. When we asked about the government jeeps, he said they are 10 kms away and cant be taken now. We had no choice but to take those jeeps, for which we again paid extra money and did not get any receipts. The driver of the jeep took us to some random village instead of the jungle and said this is a jungle, take a few selfies here and then we will go back. On confronting him, he accepted that he had cheated us and said that he had been running this business for 40 years and till now nobody has been able to do anything about it. What will we do?

It was a terrible and horrifying experience for all 22 o[censored]s in that bus and we were left with no other option but to give in to the goon-ism and cheating by the conductor of the van and the travel agents.
