Tanishq — Refund/Replacement against Substandard product | |||
1.Bought 22KT Bangles from Tanishq Raipur on 27/06/2015 07:48 pm(Invoice no. TRA/CM/1955). 2.Within 4 days of purchase one gold strip from one of the bangles was broken and lost. 3.Immediately after noticing the defect approached Tanishq show room Raipur on 02/07/2015 at around 02:30 pm for repairs. 4.Was told by the person at counter that as this is within one week of purchase and the strip cannot be repaired locally and will be sent to the company.Hence you can ask for replacement and choose some other jewelry and amount will be adjusted. 5.Went again to Tanishq show room at around 06:30 pm and again shown the defective product as well as invoice to confirm whether it will be repaired or replaced. 6.They showed some other jewelry and we chosen some other jewelry of equivalent amount for replacement. 7.When GRN was being prepared the owner(as we were told) intervened and tried to blame us for damaging the product and explained that 0.032 gm is missing so it cannot be accepted for replacement and this will be sent for repairs to company and will be returned in one month. 8.The weight of the bangles shown in repairing slip TRA1500241 dated 02/07/2015 is 20.492 gms whereas it was actually 20.592 gms when deposited in the counter.can be checked again as the bangles already deposited. 8.As the behavior of the owner was very annoying( all other staff were very cordial) and our precious three hours were wasted for no reason because we approached first for repair and not for replacement, we neither want replacement nor repairs of the bangles but the amount which we paid for purchase(after deducting price of 0.032 gms of gold) should be refunded.
