Tata Docomo — Insanely low speed but charges full tariff | |||
I suppose companies charge for products/services provided. Tata DoCoMo charges its customers for both speed of connectivity and data. If it doesn't provide anything close to the promised speed, how can it claim full tariffs? Curiously, I noticed similar complaints and similar responses (that yours is a high usage area but there is no network upgradation planned) from other users on websites where harried customers vent their ire. So, is reduction of speed a conscious business strategy for Tata DoCoMo? If so, this would also explain why its MD is so conspicuously silent on the issue. Written numerous mails to Srinath Narasimhan at srinath.[protected]@tatatel.co.in but there has been no revert. They provide speen of 0.3 mbps but charge for 3.1 mbps. What frauds! To state that Tata's conduct in the entire affair has been disappointing is an understatement.
