[Resolved] Tata Docomo — line barred for no reason for more than two weeks even after payment of bill | |||
Hi, This is to inform that I have been using tataindicom phone for more than 6yrs and I have come across the worst service in past few months. I have recently ported my number to Docomo GSM service after clearing all my bills on the CDMA account and last week I started getting message that I have an outstanding balance on my account so I went back and checked as I thought that the bill got generated for my Docomo GSM service, I checked on the tataindicom website and kept getting a message that I have 0 outstanding balance. Later on my outgoing services were barred on 7th Aug and when I called at the helpdesk I was informed by the agent that my phone is active and there is no issue with my line but I couldn't make calls and kept getting message that my outgoing service is barred. I had gone ahead and paid the so called outstanding of Rs177 as I didn't feel that there would be anyone in a position to help me with this and I needed by number to be activated ASAP and my number still stays barred. I had tried calling the customer service yesterday and today as well and the agent keeps telling me that their systems are down and they cannot help me at all. All this while I have gone through mental harassment caused due to all this. Just wanted to inform you that the payment of Rs177 was done on Saturday 9thAug at the Bill counter in Fatima Nagar even when I shouldn’t have had any outstanding since I had cleared all my bills before porting the number (I had only paid this amount because I did not want any service interruption). When I had not heard from you I had called up the customer care and informed about the same to Faizan from the Escalation desk and he was utterly rude and said that you will have to go back to the bill payment center and they will have to send an email only then my service will be restored and when I tried to explain him that I had paid the bill at that center and if it was required they should have done that to which Faizan responded very rudely stated that I will have to either go to the service center or my line will not be restored he also said that he was the highest point of contact and he also promoted cancelation of line. All said I done I thought of giving a last try and went to the bill payment center at Fatima Nagar yesterday and saw Rakesh Chavan who had gotten the line ported and he was aware of the fact that all my bills were cleared before porting but he completely ignored us and was utterly rude and left, the other staff members said that the CRM isn’t working and we should come again the next day which is today. Now let me tell you that this bill center is not next to my house that I can go there whenever I want, I currently stay at Keshav Nagar-Manjari Rd and this bill desk is more than 10km away from my house. I also requested this person and the bill desk to give me that phone number so that I can call when the services were up and they could have been in a position to help but they clearly denied support. Even at the bill desk the situation wasn’t any different when I said that I cannot stay without an active phone for such a long time and I might have to switch to another service provider they said I can. Now if you have found the details of my previous phone you should also be in position to check that I have been using this number for about 7yrs and I have also been paying the bill on time and which is why I had done whatever I could but if I get this kind of service I probably would want to think about switching to another service provider permanently. One more thing- Both my incoming and outgoing services were barred on Thursday-7th-Aug and I am not sure when the incoming was activated and I should not be liable to pay any bill from 7th Aug till the service is completely and permanently restored. If that cannot be done and If you cannot provide me uninterrupted and hassle free service -Please let know my complete bill outstanding till date, I will pay the entire amount that would like to close down the number. I have sent multiple emails to [protected]@tatadocomo.com and had copied it to appellate.[protected]@tatadocomo.com as well but have reached no resolution. The last email that I received was on 23rd Aug Which states that my line would be activated in next 15 working days. Do you think its acceptable to be without a phone for such a long time. I am really frustrated with this kind of service.
