[Resolved]  Tata Docomo — TATA DOCOMO NUMBER [protected] CONNECTION CLOSED IN JUNE 2014

Hi I have requested to closed the connection in June 2014 after clearing all my bills .it was asked to me by customer care after transferring my call to cancellation dept that if i wanted to keep my number in safe custody. i clearly replied no. they said this number will be temporarily disconnected in 48 hrs and after 15 days it will permanenetly disconnect. after 15 days i even visited pimpri store and met cutomer support representative for same and ensured that there were no pending dues in their records, he said that they can not cancell the number from store as this procedure is applicable only online.i called customer care from store and it was told to me that i have requested safe custody. i immediately told them that this is fraud and i never requested that, i told them to remove from safe custody if they have misunderstood my statement cause i do not wish to continue this poor service and i never wanted to pay any amount for safe custody when i can happily use my wifi from any other service provider at a cheaper price.basically it was their tactics to fool me in to continuing the connection.why should i pay even a rupee when i do not want to use your connection or keep your number. its not a mobile number that i use to call, its just a wifi device number. i clarified this from phone of store to customer care and they said cancellation will be done.i thought i am over with these fraud tactics of docomo. then after a month or so, when i called docomo to confirm they said that number can be removed from safe custody only after its tenure.i still told them to put a request to cancell it immediately as i will not pay any stupid charges put to me by docomo representative for trying to force me to use your connection. till november 2014 i didnt get any bills.In dec 2014, i got a bill of 562 rupees due to be paid by 11 jan 2015. i called them and said this is a mistake from their end and it must stop as they are harassing me by sending bills for connection that i have stopped using 6 months back and have disconnected long back.they apologised and said they will reverse the amount and close connection. i got a bill in jan and feb again, n did call up customer care again and even spoke on online chat with same promises from their end but no actions. i am tired of talking to these people, and tired of their fraud and harassment.infact now they should pay me for mental agony they are providing me, when i have cleared my dues in june 2014 and asked them to close connection. My latest conversation was on 11 march 2015 with Mr. Yash Bhanok - senior high priority cancellation incharge.i called customer care and they connected me to cancellation dept. i asked him to tell me his complete name and discussed my problem with him.he heard me and told me he will call back in few mins.He called from [protected] and gave me a request no.[protected] saying that amount charged to me is wrong and complete amount will be reversed and number temporarily disconnected in 48 hrs and permanently disconnected in 15 days.i hoped that atleast this time it will be done. In 2 days time i get a message from docomo that 212 rupees have been credited to account and will have to pay rest.i dont understand that why will i pay when i cancelled your connection in june 2014 and have not used it since then. i got call on 14 march 2015 from docomo collection center in shivaji nagar - pune, from 2 mobile numbers : [protected] - mr . pratap jadhav [protected] - mr. rohit sawant these people complained me of not having paid the bill and said that i should pay it and close connection. i explained them very clearly that i will not pay a single penny as docomo is wrong in asking me for same. i again went to online chatsite of docomo for this issue and spoke to Mr. raj.He said he cant help me much with this issue and i should contact Mr. yash bhanok.i told him i am unable to reach him.now even chat websites are not helping. i don't understand anymore as to how to tackle this frauds. Please explain and help!do i need to post this to facebook for some one to come along and help me?????

i recently called up customer care - reshma (1800266121) on 03 april 2015 at 1115 hrs to confirm if my account 9028002491 has been closed and the amount reversed.they confirmed that account has been closed and amount has been reversed and that i wont be troubled again for same. i want to thank consumer forum for helping me out with this. thanks again rgds sumit chandwani

thanks, awaiting your prompt action.is there any head office, where i can visit and solve this issue by talking face to face cause sir am awaiting resolution of this issue from last 9months.any complaint or request number that you can provide me for future communicaton.i would be highly obiged and would definetely appreciate even on facebook, if you can resolve my issue.

received a call from docomo media handling team on 18 march, by Mr. srikanth from number [protected] saying that number will be cancelled within a week time and asked me to remove the complaint from consumer forum.they informed me that amount has been reversed from my account bills and i said that i have received the message for that.i confirmed them that as long as i dont get a mail or sms that my number is cancelled permanently i wont remove this complaint as you people may send me a bill again in some months saying that this amount is for cancelling.i have heard about these frauds from docomo.better that i will wait for confirmation from your end wrt number cancellation and then once you cancell my number permanently i assure to remove this complaint and put the right comments as to how i was helped in getting this issue sorted out.
