My parents recently booked a Tata Punch ( Accomplished model with Dazzle pack) in the month of May 2022 from Tata showroom- Autovikas, Rama road, Delhi. At the time of booking we were told that max. by mid July 2022 we would get our car. Then this was pushed and we were promised that definitely by the end of July 2022 we will have the car.
For the past 2 months we are given false dates/promises that our car will be coming tomorrow or next week. Every day we are reaching out to them and they are just pushing us away by saying new dates.
Last week we were told that our car has been loaded on the truck for delivery from Pune, but today we are told that there is no update on when the car will reach Delhi. We were also told that a chassis number has been allocated to us but now it seems everything is just a fake promise/statement to push us away.
I stay in Dublin/Ireland and my parents stay alone in Delhi. They are both above 50 in age and hence constantly need a car to do daily chores. Because we were given false hopes that our car will be coming in July, we even sold our previous car thinking that the new car is coming within a few weeks. Now it has been more than a month and we are honestly fed up with the pathetic responses and lame excuses given By tata every day.
Autovikas showroom has also taken around a lakh rupees from us stating that the chassis number has been allocated and hence we need to give them some more payment for the car apart from the booking amount to show interest in the car. We have told them multiple times that the payment is ready as well but their responses are very lame. There CRM manager Mrs. Sangeeta doesn't even bother answering the calls, and the salesperson is now clueless about the delivery.
To be honest we had initial plans to book a Kia car, but I forced my parents to trust Tata and we went and booked the Punch automatic model, which I now feel was the biggest mistake of mine.
My parents are now fed up with going to the showroom everyday and I feel really bad sitting here that I made them trust such a company that doesn't even respect its customers in providing the correct delivery timelines.
I want you to hence please provide me with a written update on exactly when the car will be delivered to my parents.
The car is booked under the name of Mr. Rakesh Bhatia (mobile number - [protected], address- 50-a first floor, madan park, east punjabi bagh, new delhi 110026).
I want an urgent solution to this problem, and request you to please train your staff to provide the correct solution rather than just hoarding the booking amount and then doing nothing.
You have lost a loyal customer before we even got a car delivered by you, for 20 years we have been a Maruti Suzuki customer and we have never faced such issues with them.
Please don't give lame excuses, I work in the top most chip manufacturing company and while I know that there is currently a global chip shortage, I also know that this is NOT how a customer who is spending more than 10 lakh rupees should be treated.
