Tata Motors — Delay in delivery of Car

I have booked Tata Nexon XMS Petrol car on 13th Aug 2021, at Select Motors, Chanda Nagar, Hyderabad.
At the time of booking they promised to deliver the car in 12 weeks. Though it’s thirteen weeks now, I am still waiting for car delivery. Could you please help me understand the status of the same and also why it is taking so long for me.
One of my friend booked Tata Nexon after me from other dealer, got delivery on Diwali and I am still waiting for my vehicle.
