Recently I bought 2nd hand car Tata Tiago XZA AMT, 2018, Petrol from reputed used car seller .
Problem is that when I am changing gear to Acceleration (“A”) gear form Neutral gear (“N”) at stand on traffic or signal condition, after applying acceleration by right leg, car is not moving smoothly and taking more time to pickup. It is quite annoying in traffic, particularly on congested flyovers and signal, behind all car is making horn due to delay for pickup/move car smoothly. After applying the same amount of throttle at different times has different results in acceleration. It is very prominent at 1st and 2nd gear. Surprisingly, at times acceleration comes in a surge after a long lag, leading to sudden acceleration, which could be risky in dense traffic. I have almost hit few cars waiting in front of me during heavy morning or evening traffic in city drive.
As I found some internet review, this is a common problem for TATA Tiago AMT in old car(BS-IV) and same problem could be resolved by software updation. Please let me know how could be update software or assistance me how to resolve this issue? Was this information helpful? |
