Tata Motors — Loosing acceleration / power

When I drive in top gear at above 80 KMPH after sometime suddenly power is lost there is deceleration --engine RPM shoots---There is noise of loss of power.
Intermittently Engine Check appears/disappears generally in clod season--
Power loosing happen with Check Engine and without check engine lamp lighted--Tata authorised dealer Mgr says it is because of moisture of wire insulation Check engine appears--No solution as yet
so far 5-6 times this incident happened.
