I have bought a Tata Nexon XZA+ (petrol) a month ago from Puneet Tata Motors, Malad West, Mumbai and it has been a horrible experience both in terms of product and services. On the first day when we got the car from the dealer, it couldn't even reach to the nearest petrol pump and stopped in the middle of road due to no fuel. We had to drag our brand new car to the nearest petrol pump. We paid around 14 Lakhs to buy the car and dealer didn't have the courtesy to put even 100 Rs petrol in the car. After 25 days, the car broke down in the middle of road again (not because of fuel or battery) and after 10 minutes, it started by itself. I talked to Tata motors representative and he suggested me to visit the workshop to get the car inspected. When I was taking my car to the workshop, it broke down again and this time it could not be started. I contacted the road side assistance helpline and they sent a mechanic who tried various things for 1 hour but couldn't identify the problem and then suggested to toe the car to the nearest workshop. Since then, my car has been in Wasan Tata Motors, Kandivali West, Mumbai workshop and it has been 4 days and they still couldn't identify the issue and they don't have any ETA as well. I want to emphasize that the Tata cars have so inferior quality that it couldn't even last a month and more importantly, such cars are compromising lives of individuals. It has caused me a lot of emotional stress, financial loss and now I'm afraid to take the car back wondering what if it stop again in the middle of road and something terrible happen.
