It has been a terrible experience in booking India's "Safest Car", Tata Punch. I had Prelaunch booked a Tata Punch (PURE RYTHM, Daytona Grey) on 10th Oct2021, from JAIKA Motors, Civil lines, Nagpur. At the time of booking I was promised that the delivery will be done in between 4-8 weeks.
Unfortunately it has been more then 13 weeks since then and there is still no sign of the date of allocation from Tata Motors. Even after numerous follow-ups with Jaika motors, Nagpur . they are not sure about the car's allocation from the plant. The only thing I am getting is frustration with let you know answer from dealer .
My concerns are the following:
1. Tata motors have been aggressively promoting Punch as the "Safest Car" but the biggest problem is that they fail in delivery commitments. Tata motors don't care about? What is the point of Prelaunch booking when they are not able to deliver it on time?
2. It seems as if Tata Motors are only concentrating on launching new products while customer satisfaction and delivery commitments are their least priority.
3. Is the issue with Tata Motors because they failing badly in their commitments? Why are they even making incorrect commitments at the time of booking,
4. Dealers have been informing me that there is a widespread chip shortage. Then how were they able to sell more than 8000 units of their Tata Punch? So is it really Chip Shortage or attributes of Mismanagement?
5. I am really worried about my decision to buy punch . Its my first car . I am very unhappy with the wrong commitment by sales person.
Is this just a tip of iceberg? Will I face more problems when I start driving and servicing my car? I am already in a trap where I have no information regarding the delivery of my car. Had I been informed at the time of booking that my car's delivery would take 2 months I would have booked my car of some other reliable Brand Was this information helpful? |
