Please please can you deal with my complaint….. It seems my tata dealership in cape town are not doing enough and as for tata they are a disgrace… i have explained in this email my complaint… i will be taking this further and will not rest until this matter is dealt with..

I brought myself a brand new tata super ace for my landscape business in january 2016... I brought it from tata motors, paarden island, cape town. The same month the alarm did not work, then the clutch was riding, then the canopy was loose on 1 side. After telling tata this information they eventually took my vehicle in. They gave me a courtesy van another tata super ace... Guess what happened... Well this hire tata broke down on me. Basically the fuel light was not working and i ran out of fuel. Tata sent someone to help me and i was on my way. I get my tata super ace back... So the next month the same petrol light problem happened on my tata super ace... Again off she goes back into her second home (Being the tata work shop) and again fixed. So there’s me thinking these were teething problems!!! How wrong was i... The worse is yet to come and you will not believe what i have to tell you!!

Then from here onwards i inform the tata dealer in paarden island that my clutch is riding… they come out say oh it’s a small problem… the van goes back to the dealership and they strip the clutch and tell me it just needed “tweaking”. So of course i believe what they say as they are the experts…. Literally a few weeks later i a single female am in atlantis, cape town getting stock for my business when suddenly i can’t put the gears in… the clutch has now broken it seems. I have to wait 3 hours for tow truck.. Oh by the way this is after i phone my dealer to speak to ronnie phipps and tell him that i am so disgusted in the tata and i need a vehicle… he tells me tata do not supply vehicles!! Even though my brand new vehicle i brought from them has been in their workshop more times than i have had hot dinners!! Ronnie phipps and their manager whom i spoke to both treated me with complete rudeness and distain… the attitude and rudeness was just an absolute joke.. For a manager to shout at the client is unacceptable. They tow my van back and hey ho now this time my clutch did not need tweaking it needed to be replaced!! I have only done around 8000km so far on my new van. Again no car was loaned to me so lucky for me there was a head manager visiting paarden island branch and he gave me ronnie phipps own demo car to use… if it wasnt for this director chap i would never of got a loan vehicle.

Now it continues, my passenger door is snapping whenever it is opened, i email the dealership in paarden island to book my bakkie in and request i get a loan vehicle… this was around 6 weeks ago and to date i still have not been helped in this matter. Now for the final insult… friday 15th 2016 i and my team of landscapers are driving to cape town to do a garden design, as we are driving up a hill my van stops.. Complete engine failure. Again i phone to get my tata taken back to dealership… all day i request what is happening… i get absolute no answer. I then phone jodie the manager and me being the customer have not only lost my van, but my job that day and now arranging payment for staff and lifts home… a complete nightmare.. I am gutted, upset and damn miserable.. I get upset with jodie as i just get absolutely no empathy at all back.… then jodie shouts at me… me the customer i get shouted at by the manager jodie!!! I hang up the phone in tears… i don’t know where to turn or what to do. Then i get an email at 4pm that day from admin at tata dealership in paarden island saying “your engine has to go to india to be fixed”!! That is the email!! After lots of emails by myself to the dealership and me apologizing for being upset!! I then get told it’s not the engine it’s the turbo and i need a new one?? I am still awaiting mechanics report. I have had no van now for 10 days, tata warranty will not pay because i missed my 10000km service and now i am on 12000km … i honestly have missed the service because i believe shear stress… plus as my emails from january to ronnie have stated.. Please send me all relevant paperwork inc service book which i never received. Look i know i must keep on top of the service but i would of thought with only 2000km over and all the problems i have had there would be some leniency. It seems not and now tata are charging me r12, 000 for new turbo and i still have no idea when i will get my van back. I have had to hire a trailer since which is costing me a fortune… please please help me… my business is suffering, i am on my nerves with this and as for the tata super ace i just have no words and the tata warranty department really have no heart.

Please help me i am begging you….
