Tata Motors — Tata TIAGO XZA Petrol - Engine Over heating sensor issue

I have been using Tata TIAGO XZA petrol since November 2017. More than 43000 km covered. All service scheduled met till date. No issues with car till date.

Recently last week I was surprised to see Engine Over heating indicator blocking suddenly and car has a buzzer going on and moving beyond speed of 10-15 km and not shifting to 2nd gear. I stopped the car on the side and then shut the engine off. Buzzer and Over heating indicator was still on. I checked the Coolant level and Engine Oil levels. Was almost full as it was filled up in last service. I called up Tata Motors toeing service and while was on call with them to share address, the indicator stopped and I could start the car. Now the car started showing different indicator of Check engine (car symbol with tool).

Some how got the car home at Badlapur. Next day immediately in morning I took the car to Mahalaxmi Tata Motors service center Ambernath and got it tested. They scanned the signals and bugs. Later gave it back saying bugs removed no such issues should occur. All oil levels, coolant levels and FAN is working properly. Thankfully same day, no such issue came up and I could drive back to Nahur home without any issues.

Next morning while driving to office at Powai, again same Engine overheating signal came up. I shut down the car and signal automatically went off after 15 mins. I could drive to office thankfully.

Last Saturday I again took the car to Deonar Wasan Motors for Full Service. While they were doing test drive after wheel balancing, same engine over heating issue occured. On their inspection, they felt Spark plugs needs to be replaced. They did that and later stated the issue is resolved. I took an small test drive with them and no issues found.

Later after billing, almost Rs.24000, While getting the car Back home just within 14.5 Km, again I suddenly got same Engine Over heating signal and had to stop the car and after about 25 mins, sonal went off and I could start the car.

I am not sure what is the exact issue and both service centre could not identify the issue and fix it. I have seen similar (almost same) issues reported by others and posted videos on YouTube too.

Can someone please help me fix this problem? Such abrupt issue and without knowing the exact cause, I do not wish to spend money replacing all parts one after other like some others did and without fixing the issue.

3 mails sent to Tata Motors customer care and to my surprise, nobody even bothered to respond till date in about 7 days.

Expecting help and resolution here.
