Had booked a cab nearly a month in advance. Cab was booked on 27th Jan morning 0400 hours. At 0330 received a confirmation of the driver details, on repeatedly calling there was no response. On calling the call centre another driver was assigned that contact details as well was of the same fate. Called the call centre again, was promised a cab to reach by 0430 for sure. No response again from the driver or revert from call centre. My flight was on time and was taking off at 0555.
At 0445 hrs received a call from the cab driver asking for directions and he was a decent 7 kms away, there was no point in boarding the cab as I have already missed the flight, so informed the same to driver and informed him not to come.
Received a call from the call centre for the first time asking why the cab was cancelled post driver assignment, had to explain the whole story and had to give a justification from my side as to why I cancelled the booking but there was no sense empathy from the caller.
