Just wanted to share one of the worst un-professional service provided by TFS. For long weekend 2-5 Oct, I booked a Innova Cab from TFS I was confirmed a Taxi for Sure. I made hotel booking for my family worth 50, 000 based on the same. On the travel day, I got a confirmation message with Driver name and number 30 min prior to travel. I spoke to driver and he said he will be on time.
Then my nightmare started. The driver didn't report on time, his mobile number switched off. Calling TFS call center, they started making all sort of excuses saying the driver is reaching you, his mobile is broken, we can track his cab near your apartment. Finally after 2 hours, one Customer care lady Ramya accepted that driver is un-traceable and we are trying to arrange another cab will be there in 1 hour. This all went for good 5 hours with at-least numerous calls to customer care and every time 10 minutes of hold time and by 4:00 PM again it was told to me we will get you another cab and will call back. No call back came till date. As to travel Ooty, you have to pass through Bandipur forest which entry closes by 8:00 PM so even if they get me a cab, my whole day was wasted along with my hotel booking money worth 50, 000/-. All fun and joy we have planned was shattered. Our long weekend trip plans became long weekend curse as no other taxis were available from other providers. All tour operators said you should have booked in advanced and I told that's what I did but with wrong company.
TFS people were so un-professional in this whole experience. First they didn't tell the truth in time, second they didn't arrange for alternate transport and third no compensation for my financial loss. The whole brand name itself becomes a mockery. Apart from financial loss, it was a whole mental harassment for which I am going to approach appropriate forum. But just wanted to let other users know and make them aware so they take learning from my experience.
