TO WHOMSOEVER THIS MAY CONCERN Order Confirmation No:[protected] Complaint No: MSCO10036626 I have purchased a mobile (with full payment) on 12th April, 2014. I saw that the delivery expectation was within 4-6 days. To date, I have not received my product. On the website, it gives me the status “Fulfillment In Progress”. The Expected Shipping Date is mentioned as 18th April, 2014. I have been calling up to check on the delivery date since 18th April, 2014 through their call centre i.e. [protected]. On that day, I was informed that the product was in Belapur and I should receive the same on 18th or latest by 19th. When I called on 20th, I was informed that the product is in Thane and I should receive the same by evening or latest by 21st. On 22nd when I called I was informed that the product is in Mumbai and I should receive the same within 24 hours. Thereafter, I spoke with one Mr. Rahul who said that he was a senior. He assured me twice on 22nd that my product would definitely be delivered to me on 23rd. Today, since morning I have called their call centre six times. On one occasion I was told that the product will be received in 2-3 days, one time I was told that the product will be received in 4-5 days and one time I was told that they don't have the product. When I am trying to connect with Mr. Rahul, I am told that he is busy on another call and that I need to call 10 minutes later. This has happened twice. Today on all occasions, their call centre staff have abruptly cut the call. And yet they tell me that it is not allowed for them to cut the call. I am not getting any help or support by the call centre executives. I am told stories every day. This is their service level and service commitment. The fact that during my discussions with one of their executives today, he informed me that they do not even have stock of the product means that all their assurances that the product has been dispatched has been a lie all along. No one from their side has any regard for customers. It is a very unfortunate situation that even after writing to them two times and calling their call centre so many times, I am yet to receive a call from someone with responsibility or someone committed towards customer service from their side. Please help me as they have taken INR 13, 649 from me and now they refuse to respond to me. Regards, Rahul Thakur

Firstly, my sincere thanks to you and your team. At least based on your intervention, I finally received a call last evening from a person, Mr. Akshay, who stated that he was from the complaints department at The Mobile Store.

He apologised for the delay in delivering the product and assured me that the product would be delivered by Saturday, 26th April, 2014. He further assured me that someone from his team would give this to me in writing latest by 12 noon today. However, we are past the deadline and I have not received any email from anyone of The Mobile Store. He had also mentioned that the email would contain details that if the product is not delivered by 26th April, 2014, then, in that case, they would refund the money and the deadlines for receiving the refund.

Nothing has been received. Mr. Akshay, like the Company which he represents, seems to be incapable of sticking to his promises.

I have written my third email to [protected]@themobilestore.in. They have not bothered to respond to my earlier two emails. Hope that they have the decency to respond to my third email.

Once again I thank https://www.consumercomplaints.in for your intervention in the matter. I request you to kindly intervene once again and get these people (liars would probably be a more appropriate word for them) to respond and give me the product/money rather than false promises.

It is thanks to you that I have received my product. The product which was not being delivered to me for 12 days (although the website mentioned 4-6 days), after writing my complaint here, I received a call on the same day itself from someone and lo and behold within 72 hours, I receive my product.

This is a fantastic website. I recommend it to all the consumers who are being harassed by service providers who take us for guaranteed and give us excuses for their incompetence. Please use this website. I used it and I am thankful.
