I am writing to share a disheartening experience I had recently with Knowledge Academy's PRINCE2 training course, bearing the course ID B-TI-SO[protected]. I believe it is important to bring this to your attention so that others can be aware of the situation I encountered.
I enrolled in the PRINCE2 training course on March 31, 2023, with the expectation of gaining valuable knowledge and skills in project management. The course was scheduled to equip me for the PRINCE2 foundation & practitioner exam, a certification that holds great importance in the field of project management.
In June 2023, a significant exam fee hike for PRINCE2 was introduced. However, what troubles me the most is the complete lack of communication from Knowledge Academy regarding this crucial development. Despite the course being in session for a substantial period of time, no intimation was provided to the enrolled students about the impending exam fee increase.
I attended the PRINCE2 foundation & practitioner training on July 22nd and 23rd 2023 with the hope of gaining comprehensive insights into the subject matter. The training was indeed insightful, but the subsequent events left me deeply disappointed. Following the training, I promptly requested an exam voucher on July 25th 2023, as I was eager to continue with the certification process.
To my dismay, on July 26th 2023, I received a response from Knowledge Academy indicating that the exam voucher could not be released due to the recent exam fee hike. I was asked to pay an additional amount of Rs. 11, 200+18% GST to proceed with obtaining the voucher. This sudden and unexpected demand for additional fees caught me off guard, especially given the absence of prior communication about the fee increase.
In light of this situation, I expressed my dissatisfaction and chose not to pay the escalated fee. I believed that it was unjust to bear the burden of a fee hike that was not communicated in advance. Instead, I requested a refund for the course since the terms under which I had enrolled had changed significantly without any prior notice.
Shockingly, my request was met with a response that left me stunned. Knowledge Academy not only denied my request for a refund, but they also deducted a sum of Rs. 16, 000 from the total amount I had paid. This action was taken without any clear justification or explanation, leaving me feeling cheated and helpless.
I want to share this experience to caution others who may consider enrolling in courses with Knowledge Academy. The lack of transparency, the failure to communicate crucial information, and the unjustified actions taken by the institution reflect a concerning level o[censored]nprofessionalism. It is disheartening to witness such practices from an organization that claims to provide educational services.
I hope my unfortunate experience serves as a cautionary tale for those who are seeking professional training and certifications. It is crucial to thoroughly research and choose institutions that prioritize their students' interests and uphold ethical standards.
