It’s very disheartening to bring to notice about our unpleasant experience with Thomas cook india . We had opted for SINGAPORE WONDERS 3 STAR ROYAL CARRIBEAN CRUISE PACKAGE, file number= G[protected] with tour start date[protected] and tour end date[protected].
There is discrepancy in our trip invoice, quotation provided by you and the amount collected from us by Thomas cook. We have attached the documents for same as attachments below.
As per quotation, there was no forex transaction tax and forex transaction fees which were added to the invoice with applicable GST on that amount . We could not refute for above as we had already paid advance amount of 75, 000 INR.
After completion of tour, we had to ask for trip invoice ( which we should have received beforehand without asking for it) which clearly shows above discrepancy. On telephonic enquiry with your representative, an excuse of software malfunction was given and we were assured of manual invoice.
After insisting we got rectified invoice after more than 2 weeks which showed following discrepancies.
1. The amount collected from us and the total amount in rectified invoice does not match, indicating due refund.
2. Forex transaction fees and tax are applied in rectified invoice while quotation for trip does not mention them.
3. Rate of exchange applied on invoice and on quotation differ more than historical rates of SGD.
It is very disappointing to see such unprofessional behaviour from such a reputed company.Hoping for rapid and immediate action into the matter and resolution/rectification and appropriate refund for the same so that our trust on company prevails.
