I am om Lambat a resident of Kanjurmarg.
I am a daily commuter from Kanjurmarg to Vikhroli.
As usual I got into a rikshaw and asked him to go to udayachal school (godrej) from pariwar chs. Kanjurmarg. The auto did not have a meter so the driver asked me the usual fair which is 70rs he agreed to it. I had gone to pick my sister from the school so the driver asked me for a round-trip which would normally cost 150-160 rs including the waiting charges.
On coming back this guy took away 2 of my 100 rs notes and refused to give the change back . He cheated me for around 40-50rs without a meter. He was definately taking extra money and without the meter there was no way to prove that the trip costed less. He was extremely arrogant and started cussing in front of my 11 year old sister.
At the end he threatened me that he'd come To my house if i say anything.
DRIVING WITHOUT A METRE IN MUMBAI IS DEFINATELY WRONG AND ASKING FOR EXTRA MONEY WITHOUT HAVING ONE IS DEFINATELY ILLEGAL!
Also the fact that this guy was extremely arrogant and used harsh language in front of my sister .
My complaint here is not about the lost money, its about the arrogance of the driver and him not driving with a meter.
I request the authority to look into the matter
