[Resolved]  Toyota Innova — Damaged clutch plate

Sir/Madam, I had purchased INNOVA vx/7 seater on May 18th 2012 (Purchase Invoice and RC attached). I am single owner and have driven appx 22, 000 kms till now. The vehicle has been used only for domestic purpose and has been handled gently. I have been driving since 40 years and have never come across the issue this vehicle is giving me. The vehicle had a damaged clutch plate after having driven 10, 000 kms. We immediately took it to the authorized service unit. We were told by the service engineer that the clutch plate was fine and we continued driving. which resulted in further damage of the clutch plate. We have taken it for regular service to the authorized service dealer as per Toyota guidelines. Last service was done on Jan 22 2014 at Uttam Toyota, Noida. We specifically mentioned about the damaged clutch plate and they again ignored and we had a hard time driving the vehicle. This seems to be a manufacturing defect and very conveniently has been ignored multiple times by various service engineers. We would like you guys to take care of the matter. Our nearest service center is in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. This is our first Toyota and we are pretty disappointed by its performance and the service offered. They shouldn't have ignored the issue and should have not only fixed the clutch plate but also made sure that the customer is happy and satisfied. I wouldn't hesitate to say at this moment that if this issue is not handled to our satisfaction, we will not be thinking of buying another Toyota or recommending it to anyone else. This has caused lot of inconvenience and we demand that the vehicle should be repaired ASAP free of cost.
